WINCHENDON — The Kearsarge-Plymouth boys ice hockey team will be looking for its first victory when it returns to action on Jan. 8 for a 7:10 p.m. clash against Hollis-Brookline.
In its first game Kearsarge-Plymouth came back from a 4-2 deficit in the third period to tie ConVal-Conant 4-4 on the road at The Winchendon School.
Junior Captain Cody Bannon picked up a goal and an assist for the Cats while senior Captain Nate St. Pierre and sophomores Jake Marcoux and Nick Therrien also contributed goals.
Sophomore netminder Gavin Garzie was credited with 19 saves in his first career start for Coach Justin Garzia’s team.
On Dec. 21, Hollis-Brookline defeated Kearsarge-Plymouth, 6-3 in a game played at Proctor Academy.
