Combating homelessness

It is disgusting how our government lies to us. I sent a letter to my senator, Maggie Hassan, requesting information about homelessness in this country. No one else even replies. In her letter, she quoted from the Department of Housing and Development. This department reports that 567,715 people in 2019 were homeless on a given night. This is a lie!

Homeless school-age children can be counted because theu must give their address when they register for school. There are more than one million in the United States. Little Claremont has 90.

The government thinks that by giving their false low numbers that no one will know there are three million homeless.
