‘Mockingbird’ sceening set for March 10

NEWPORT — On March 10 at 6 p.m. the Richards Library in Newport will host a screening of “To Kill a Mockingbird.”

The New Hampshire Institute for Civics Education will screen “To Kill a Mockingbird” as part of a multi-year statewide program designed to foster conversations with the public on law, justice, and civics.

The screening will be accompanied by panel discussion with Attorney Barbara Parker; Andrea Thorpe, Library Director of the Richards Free Library; and Newport high school student Eliza Bates.

The event is free and open to the public. You may register for the event on the library website, http://newport.lib.nh.us All members of the community are welcome.
