Beverly E. (Jarvis) Domey CHARLESTOWN — Beverly Elaine (Jarvis) Domey, 82, of Charlestown, New Hampshire, passed away on March 2, 2020, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She was born on Dec. 31, 1937, in Claremont, New Hampshire, the daughter of George and Lena (Greenwood) Jarvis. She was raised in Weathersfield, Vermont, a resident for almost 60 years. She was a graduate of Stevens High School in the class of 1957. Beverly married Kenneth A. Domey on June 28, 1969, celebrating their 50th anniversary last year. She worked at Vermont Research Corp. in North Springfield for over 20 years as an inspector, then at Split Ballbearing in Lebanon, New Hampshire, before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, country music, square dancing, sewing, horseback riding and camping. She always enjoyed a good joke and had a great smile. She was predeceased by one brother, Ronald L. Jarvis, in 2007; and one son, Dale R. Porter, in 2017. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Domey of Charlestown; a brother, Frederick Jarvis of Chester, Vermont; a daughter, Donna Willets of Charlestown; a son, Duane Jarvis of Hartland, Vermont; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St. in Claremont on Saturday, March 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. Beverly will be laid to rest in the Ascutneyville Cemetery in the spring.
