Wash your hands! We at the Center are wiping and cleaning and wiping. We know you have probably heard this before, but just using common sense it a good rule. Wash your hands with warm water and soap or use hand sanitizer. Stay away from those who may be ill and, if you are ill, please stay home. Common sense is the best defense. Above all, don’t panic.
When Irish eyes are smilin’… and they will when they see our Authentic Irish Dinner complete with Irish Desserts on Tuesday, March 17 at 11:45 a.m. On the menu will be corned beef and cabbage with all the fixings, Traditional Irish Desserts, chocolate biscuits or lemon pudding. This feast is open to the public. The cost of admission is $10.
If that wasn’t enough, and we are sure it will be, you can attend our next Turkey Dinner on Saturday, March 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This will be a complete Turkey Dinner freshly prepared by Ken and his great volunteers. Roast turkey, mashed potato, gravy, vegetable, cranberry sauce and ,of course, our members’ wonderful pies. The dinner is open to the public. Adults are $10, children 10 and under are $6.Take-outs available. Call (603) 543-5998.

Fresh cut salad, American chop suey, garlic bread, green beans, raspberry filled cookie.
Thursday, March 12
Soup, baked haddock, steak fries,carrots, blueberry cobbler.
How can you resist these menus? Meals are served at 11:45 a.m. and open to the public. The cost for members is $4, nonmembers is $5.
OK. We are full for a while. Actually, not quite. On Monday, March 16 we will again be having our Cookie Decorating Class. If you haven’t signed up, please do so. You will not regret it. Our group had so many laughs and happy mistakes at the last class, it was worth the time and the $5 fee. The class will begin at 1 p.m.
The Spring Fling Craft Fair is filling up. We have received applications from several wonderful crafters. Just wait until you see the wares they are offering. If you are thinking about showing your handmade items, please get your application in. Call the Center for more information. We treat our crafters special.
We are busy bagging tickets,cataloging donations, checking the menu, gathering volunteers and getting anxious. We want everything to be perfect for our wonderful, great, fabulous Penny Sale on May 3 at 1 p.m. We still have room for donations of new or lightly used items, gift cards,and gift certificates. Just bring them to the reception desk at the Center and we will gladly gently place them on the shelf. Thank you all for supporting your Center.
Quick Takes: Foot Clinic will be on Wednesday, March 11 and Wednesday, March 18. Blood Pressure will be on Thursday, March 5 and Thursday, March 19 from 11-12. Don’t forget about that tax appointment. AARP Tax Service has started and will continue through April 10. Call the Center for an appointment, Sign up early!
