Sunapee discusses response to Covid-19 preparedness

SUNAPEE — This is to inform all citizens that all of the Sunapee Town Departments are meeting and discussing the COVID-19 virus and the potential impact in the Town of Sunapee

The State of New Hampshire is at the front of a fast paced and complex issue. As Town Officials we are involved in conference calls and updates from the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Homeland Security and the Governor’s office.

If you have any questions about COVID-19 call the State’s 211 Call Center. This is the line that is manned with state personnel to answer your specific questions related to the virus.

Any questions specific to the Town of Sunapee should be directed to Town Office at 763-2212 during normal business hours daily, otherwise visit our website at www.town.sunapee.nh.us for update.

Please remember that this is a fast-paced and changing environment and we as a community need to remain flexible to change as the situation changes. At the request of the CDC and the State of New Hampshire we want to remind everyone to reduce unnecessary contact with others. As you have heard social distancing is an opportunity to reduce spreading Covid-19 virus.

The most important action we can take as individuals is that if we are sick, stay home and seek advise from your own doctor.

As department heads we will remain informed as each day progresses and pass along pertinent information to the citizens of Sunapee as they become available.
