SUNAPEE — The following is an important message from the Town of Sunapee:
This is to inform all citizens that all of the Sunapee Town Departments are meeting and discussing the COVID-19 virus and the potential impact in the Town of Sunapee.
The State of New Hampshire is at the front of a fast-paced and complex issue. As Town Officials, we are involved in conference calls and updates from the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Homeland Security and the Governor’s office.
If you have any questions about COVID-19 call the State’s 211 Call Center, this is the line that is manned with state personnel to answer your specific questions related to the virus.
Any questions specific to the Town of Sunapee should be directed to Town Office at 763-2212 during normal business hours daily, otherwise visit our website at www.town.sunapee.nh.us
Please remember that this is a fast paced and changing environment and we as a community need to remain flexible to change as the situation changes. At the request of the CDC and the State of New Hampshire we want to remind everyone to reduce unnecessary contact with others. As you have heard social distancing is an opportunity to reduce spreading Covid-19 virus.
The most important action we can take as individuals is that if we are sick, stay home and seek advise from your own doctor.
As Department Heads we will remain informed as each day progresses and pass along pertinent information to the citizens of Sunapee as they become available. For more Information, contact: Donna Nashawaty, Town Manager, [email protected] or call 763-2212.
As your daily newspaper, we are committed to providing you with important local news coverage for Sullivan County and the surrounding areas.
