In his spare time, in addition to working to better the Town of Windsor, Rudy enjoyed spending time with friends and family. In particular he loved visiting the annual Cornish, New Hampshire, fair, celebrating birthdays (where he was known to sing the “Happy No Birthday” song to all who were present but not having birthdays) and reveling at Christmas time when he loved to spoil his niece and nephew while often making jokes about people demanding Figgy Pudding. Rudy was a wonderful guy with a heart of gold who loved his family and his friends were his family. He loved his small hometown and everyone in it. He worked hard to bring significant improvements to it and make it a place everyone would be proud to live. Rudy was a friend to all. He always made time for others; his generosity and kindness cannot be measured. No one who ever met Rudy will ever forget his strong character, his smile, his sense of humor, his kindness, his generosity, his determination, and his love. A memorial service celebrating Rudy’s life will be held at a later date which is to be determined.
