Kevin L. Jones CORNISH — Kevin Lee Jones, 56, of Clark Camp Road, Cornish, died Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at his home. He was raised in Cornish by his father, Llewellyn “Pete” Jones, and mother, Beverly “Marsh” Jones, and resided in Cornish most of his life. Kevin was widely known for his love of cars, guns and anything fast and loud. Over the years, he worked at LaCrosse Boots, many years at Cornish Automotive and spent the last few years running his own auto body business. Kevin was an amazing spouse, father, Papa, brother, uncle, and most importantly, an amazing friend to all who knew him. His free time consisted of friends and family time, whether it was his weekly breakfast dates, the annual swap meets or cooking his family a feast, Kevin loved it all. He was predeceased by both his parents. He leaves behind his partner and best friend, Melinda Emde, of Cornish, New Hampshire; his sister, Bonnie Howe and husband Lyle Howe of Claremont, New Hampshire; his brother, Keith Jones and wife Heather Jones of Claremont, New Hampshire. He leaves behind his children, daughter Lindsey Jones of Cornish, New Hampshire, son Joshua Jones of Greeneville, Tennessee, son Matthew Jones and wife Dana Jones of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, daughter Brandy LaQuire and husband Mitchell LaQuire of Newport, New Hampshire, and stepdaughter Kirsten Smith and husband JJ Smith of Claremont, New Hampshire. Kevin was a proud Papa to nine grandchildren, Christafer, Alayna, Natalee, Makenzie, Hannah, Willow, Cooper, Lillian and Charlotte. Kevin also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. Due to the current pandemic, there will be no funeral at this time but a celebration of life, or as Kevin would say, a “Bigger then big bash,” will be planned for later this summer for “all his friends and family.” “Love you more.” Donations may be made to the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St., Claremont, NH 03743, towards funeral expenses.
