William E. Daniels

William E. Daniels CHARLESTOWN — William E. Daniels passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2020. He was born on July 24, 1951, in Brattleboro, Vermont, to Virginia Law and Abel Daniels. He grew up in Springfield, Vermont, and went to school in Springfield. He went to South Carolina to be in the United States Marine Corps. On July 26, 1970, William married Ruby Parsons, They made their home in Westminster, Vermont, while he worked on Kissell Farms; together, they had four daughters. He later met Andrea Germond; they had three children. William was loved by so many people. He loved farming, he was an avid collector of many things, he loved working outside in his garden and playing chess. He was recently employed at Burtco Inc. in Westminster, Vermont. William was predeceased by his grandparents, Rosco and Katherine Swain; both of his parents; his wife, Ruby Daniels; his siblings, Thomas Daniels, Larry Daniels and Darlene Lique; and a grandson, Kyle Derby. William leaves behind his siblings, Robyn Daniels, Kevin Daniels and Cheryl Daniels; his children, Madeline Derby, Darlene Derby, Billie-Jo Brooks, Sarah Daniels, Megen Germond, Jamie Daniels and Matthew Daniels; 18 grandkids and 20 great-grandkids; a good friend and roommate, Tina Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking any donations can be made to White River Junction VA Medical Center, 163 Veterans Drive, White River Junction, VT 05009. There will be no services, to respect the deceased’s wishes.
