Scott N. Hull WEATHERSFIELD, Vt. — Scott Neil Hull, 65, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 25, 2020. Scott was born March 10, 1955, in Windsor, Vermont, a son of Maurice and Lorraine (Greene) Hull. Scott grew up hunting and fishing at the base of Mount Ascutney with his brothers and sisters. He graduated in 1973 from Windsor High School where he enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. After high school, Scott traveled around the country working various jobs before returning to Vermont where he met and fell in love with his wife, Karen. They were married May 14, 1983, and made a home in Weathersfield, Vermont. Scott began a 35-year career with Central Vermont Public Service as a lineman where he enjoyed mentoring younger workers. Scott was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking, fishing, golfing and especially, hunting. He went on several hunting trips around the United States, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Colorado and Illinois, and also took annual fishing trips with his lifelong friends to northern New Hampshire. Scott loved kids and spent many hours taking kids hunting on youth weekend, coaching basketball in Windsor, including JV and Freshman Boys teams and Varsity Girls teams, and volunteering at the school where his wife worked. He also volunteered his time at Ascutney Outdoors and at the John P. Larkin Country Club where he was a member. Scott was a longtime member of the Windsor Elks. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends whenever there was a gathering or celebration. He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Kerry Hull; and brother-in-law, Matt Harrington. He leaves his wife, Karen, of 37 years; sisters, Brenda Hull (Pat Harrington) of Windsor, Shannon Harrington of Brownsville and Shelley Seward (Glenn) of Brownsville; brother, Kelly Hull of Windsor; brothers-in-law, Alan Hlobik and Mark Hlobik (Michele); nieces and nephews, Michelle, Darby, Brendan, Daniel, Colton, Allison, Adam, Ashley, Cody, Kelsi and Evan; many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
