Annette V. Hagen

Annette V. Hagen July 14, 1949-July 10, 2020 BEVERLY HILLS, Fla. — Annette passed from this world just four days short of her 71st birthday after a long battle with cancer, with her beloved husband, Michael, by her side. Annette was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, to Doris (Durant) and Raymond Boucher. She was one of eight children, predeceased by an infant brother, Roland; her brother, Ray Jr.; both her parents; her second husband, Armand LeBlanc Jr.; and the father of her children, Norbert “Nibby” Moreau. Early life for Annette was a struggle; through it, she gained strength and persistence. She moved to Vermont in the ’70s; she worked two jobs to help support her family, including at local businesses and restaurants and later at the med/surg unit of Mount Ascutney Hospital. She was particularly proud of working at Head Start in Windsor and Springfield, Vermont. Later in life, she was also a business owner; she owned a thrift store with her daughter, Tina, at Downers Corners in Perkinsville, and a boutique with her husband, Mike, in Bellows Falls. She had also gained an eye for art and fashion. Annette is survived by her sisters, Jeanne Jones of Texas, Connie Mottram (Jon) of Nevada, Claire Kennedy (Frank) of Massachusetts and Muriel Edmond of Rhode Island; and one brother, Paul (Carmen) Boucher of Rhode Island. She leaves behind daughters, Barbara Warren of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, and Tina Jelliffe (Tom) of Springfield, Vermont; her husband, Michael, of Beverly Hills, Florida; stepsons, John Hagen (Jill) of Claremont, New Hampshire, and Joseph (Billie) Hagen of Newfane, Vermont, with whom she had a very close relationship. She is also survived by many precious grandchildren and even a few great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She is greatly missed by all who knew her. The schedule of informal memorials celebrating her life will be announced in Florida and Vermont.
