Kelly L. Bosma

Kelly L. Bosma GOSHEN — Kelly L. Bosma died peacefully on Aug, 17, 2020, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, at the age of 42. Kelly was born on June 10, 1978, in Greenfield, Massachusetts, to David and Kathleen (Rouleau) Bosma. She graduated from Newport High School before earning her Associate degree in Early Childhood Education at River Valley in Claremont, New Hampshire. Pursuing her passion, she worked at multiple day care centers, to include DCCCC and ABC Childcare at New London Hospital. She always knew what to do or say to make a child smile, learn and develop into the best version of themselves. She could enter a room and immediately be swarmed by children; they just naturally gravitated to her gentle but strong demeanor. Though Kelly may not have had children of her own, she considered each child she cared for, to be hers. She will always be with them in spirit. Her family remembers her as a caring and gentle soul with a positive outlook on life, who lived her life to the fullest, and inspired others in the process. Kelly was a creative individual who loved crafting, scrapbooking and the outdoors. She loved hiking, traveling and chasing waterfalls. She was an active gardener and absolutely adored sunflowers. She was always there when needed and was a beacon of light for many people. Kelly was predeceased by her grandparents, Robert Rouleau, Andrew Bosma and Doris Bosma. Surviving family members include her parents, David and Kathleen (Rouleau) Bosma of Goshen; brothers, Paul Bosma of Keene and Jason Bosma and wife Sara of New York; sister, Kimberly Friel and husband Kevin of Merrimack; grandmother, Marguerite Rouleau of Massachusetts; niece, Caelyn; nephews, Connor, Braeden, Matthew and Aidan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial calling hours will be held on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Newport, NH 03773. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Kelly’s name to ABC Childcare, c/o New London Hospital, 273 County Road, New London, NH 03257. Kelly had so many ideas to share with the kids. Helping fund those adventures is the best tribute anyone could give her. To sign an online guestbook, please visit http://%3Ca%20href%3D/]www.newtonbartlett.com.
