The Claremont Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) program is also headed toward opening their season with sessions scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. Registrations have been ongoing for a few weeks and their first practices are set to start on next week and concluding in mid October.

Although the numbers are down to only 129 players for the K-5 program, CYSA President Jason West said they have taken precautions and anticipates another great season.

“This is truly a pivotal moment for CYSA within these difficult times in regards to covid. We have taken all precautions to hopefully provide the safest environment for our players, coaches, spectators and officials while all of us search for a normalcy” said West. “We will have a six week season in which players will see one practice and one game per week beginning Sept. 8 through Oct. 17. Equipment will be sanitized after each session” added West.
