NEWPORT — The Newport Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating two missing adult men.
On Tuesday, Sept. 8, authorities at the Newport Police Department were alerted that Jerry Proper, 69, and his grandson, 22-year-old Cody Pillsbury, remained missing after they had departed the Newport area at approximately 2 p.m. the previous day as they went for a motorcycle ride.
The motorcycle is described as a red 2001 Honda GL18R1 Trike with New Hampshire license plates.
According to a press release issued by Newport Police Chief Brent Wilmot, there was no set destination but Proper is an avid rider and extensively travels throughout the western New Hampshire and Lakes Region area on his motorcycle.
