Anthony Michael Ouellette

Anthony Michael Ouellette CLAREMONT — Anthony Michael Ouellette, 36, of Claremont, New Hampshire, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020. He was born in Claremont on Jan. 21, 1984, the son of Michael and Karen (Breault) Ouellette, and had been a longtime area resident. He was a graduate of Stevens High School, Class of 2002. While in high school, he played soccer and was a member of the track team. Anthony had been employed as stone worker and front-end loader operator by Gilbert Block in Tamworth, New Hampshire. He enjoyed fishing and had a knack for catching fish when others with him were not able to even get a nibble. Anthony also enjoyed snowboarding, drawing, singing, video games, music and computers. He loved his family and friends and always preferred a hug rather than a handshake. Members of his family include his parents, Michael and Karen Ouellette, Claremont; a sister, Nicole Ouellette and partner Hugh Adam, Franklin Park, Illinois; aunts and uncles, Kevin Breault, Gary and Mary Ann Ouellette, Judy and Donald Tacy, Darlene and Michael Clark, and Randy and Marcia Ouellette; as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Frances Breault; his paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Edward Ouellette. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan St., Claremont, with the Rev. Arockia Antony, pastor of St. Joseph Parish, officiating. Friends may call at the Roy Funeral Home on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Committal services will be held at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Claremont Soup Kitchen, 53 Central St., Claremont, NH 03743.
