Jeanne Marie Magoon CLAREMONT — Jeanne Marie Magoon, nee Ferry, 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, after a long illness. She leaves behind a brother, Francis Ferry of Belchertown, Massachusetts; daughters, Gail Oster of Milford, and Nancy Morrison of Claremont; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Fiercely loyal to her family, she adored her Pekingese dog, Rocco, and Maine Coone cat, Sassy. She adored audio books and keeping up with current events. She would want to be remembered as an animal lover and a devout Catholic who has moved on to join her husband, children and siblings in heaven. In lieu of flowers, family ask that donations be made to Sullivan County Humane Society in Claremont. A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. in Hillside Cemetery in Hancock, New Hampshire. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the funeral home and The Town of Hancock, New Hampshire, ask all attending to abide with all regulations and please wear a mask and use social distancing.
