Elinor F. Moulton CLAREMONT — Elinor F. Moulton, formerly of Claremont, New Hampshire, passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, at Chesapeake General Hospital in Chesapeake, Virginia. She was born Elinor Fletcher in Claremont, the daughter of Josephine Barber Fletcher and Walter Fletcher. Elinor graduated from Stevens High School in 1949. She worked at Fredrick’s Store in Claremont and at Delmar’s and The State Library, both in Concord, New Hampshire, where Elinor was appointed supervisor of the checklist for Ward 2 for several years. Her husband, Dwinell E. Moulton, had previously passed away in 2016. Her surviving family include her sons, David Moulton and wife Marion of Cape Charles, Virginia, and Steven Moulton and wife Barbara of Chesapeake. Other surviving family members include four grandsons, Timothy Moulton and wife Megan, Gregory Moulton and wife Leah, Daniel Moulton, Sean Moulton; great-grandsons, Jack and James Moulton (Tim/Megan’s sons); brother, Homer Fletcher; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Claremont on November 7th at Noon.
