CLAREMONT — Claremont officials recorded a 7% voter turnout in the city during the annual March vote held on Tuesday in numerous parking lots.
Tracy Pope was elected as moderator while Mary Woodman and write-in Jane Hunter were elected to the position of school district clerk and treasurer, respectively.
Steven Horsky, Joshua Lambert, and Heather Whitney were all elected to serve three-year terms on the Claremont School Board.
Both the alternate ballot and article two were both passed.
In Grantham, Peter Garland was elected to serve a three-year term on the selectboard.
The Grantham Planning Board will also welcome back C. Peter James and Peter Guillette for a three-year term, each. C. Peter James was also elected to serve as the cemetery trustee, which is a three-year term.
Maria Dahlman was elected to serve as trustee of the trust funds.
For the Dunbar Free Library, Patricia Beasley and Megan Alexander were both elected to serve three-year terms as trustees.
While there were many write-in candidates for supervisor of the checklist, Suzanne Goldman was elected to the six-year term position with 86 votes.
