Gloria (Hunt) Santini CLAREMONT — Gloria J. (Hunt) Santini, 72, formerly of Stewart Avenue in Claremont, New Hampshire, died Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, following a period of failing health. She was born in Springfield, Vermont, on Sept. 26, 1948, the daughter of Jesse and Esther (Abbey) Bacon and had been a lifetime area resident. She was a graduate of Fall Mountain Regional High School, Class of 1967. Gloria had been employed by Hampshire Mfg., Pep Industries, Holson Corp., Sullivan County Healthcare and retired from the housekeeping department at Elmwood Center in Claremont. She was an avid reader. She was the widow of Truman M. Hunt Sr., who died on March 19, 2006. Members of her family include her husband, David Santini, Claremont, New Hampshire; two sons, Truman M. Hunt Jr., Claremont, New Hampshire, Norman Hunt and his fiancée, Tina Eastman, Delphi, Indiana; two grandchildren whom she cherished, Sydney Aryn Hunt, Gretchen Elena Hunt; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her parents; three brothers, David Bacon, Jessie Bacon, Bernie Smith; and a sister, Patricia Lowell. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan St., Claremont, New Hampshire, on Wednesday evening, April 14, from 6–8 p.m. Due to the current pandemic, the Hunt and Santini families and the Roy Funeral Home remind you to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
