The Terriers’ Maya Waryas posted a personal best in the hurdles as she grabbed wins in both the 100m and 300m races to help her Bellows Falls team to a win on Friday.
Bellows Falls winners included Stephanie Ager (1500m and 3000m); Waryas, Grace Bazin, Ava LaRoss, and Ashylnn Boucher (4x100m relay); Stephanie Ager, Ashylnn Boucher, Emma Hillock, and Molly Hodsden (4x400m relay); Berkley Hutchins (shot and discus); and Breanna Stockman (javelin).
The Green Mountain girls winning events included: Grace Tyrrell(100m, 200m, 400m) and Berkley Hutchins (shot and discus).
Final results: Bellows Falls (104), White River Valley (51), Green Mountain (43), and Sharon Academy (32).
On the boys side the Terriers gathered 81.5 points to lead the way with Green Mountain second with 65, White River Valley (61.5), and Sharon Academy grabbing a point.
Owen LaRoss led the way capturing the discus and shot put. Elijah Ghia, Owen LaRoss, Mack Ross, and Devon Porior (4x400m relay); Tylar Stanley (300m hurdles); and Elijah Ghia (800m) all grabbed wins for Bellows Falls.
Green Mountain was led by Mitchell Rounds (100m); Benjamin Munukka (200m); Benjamin Munukka, Eben Mosher, Evan Hayes, and Mitchell Rounds (4x100m relay); Eben Mosher (high jump and triple jump); and Mitchell Rounds (long jump).
