Walker James went 1-4 with a double off of the left field fence. Trenton Fletcher went 1-3 with a double and three RBIs. Jake Moore went 2-3 with a single, triple, and two RBIs and Noah Simino went 1-3 with an RBI single.
Woodstock shuts out Springfield, 9-0The Springfield baseball team dropped a 9-0 contest against Woodstock Tuesday afternoon. Garrett Twombly pitched for the Cosmos and went three innings, striking two and allowing seven walks. Cameron Harriman came on and pitched the rest of the way, striking out six.
Sam Presch went 2-for-3 for Springfield.
Bellows Falls dominates in 40-14 win over Mill RiverThe Terriers softball team took advantage of 21 walks and 18 errors to head home with a win on Tuesday. Taryn Darrell was one of the offensive standouts for Bellows Falls, with two doubles and a single. She was also the winning pitcher.
Bellows Falls girls defeat MSJ, 5-0No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles were not completed because of darkness. The Terriers secured singles victories by Haley McAllister, Anika Larsen, Anya Taylor and Ariana Wunderle at numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively. The Terriers No. 1 doubles team of Kathleen Dole and Grace Guild were also victorious. The Terriers improved to 3-1 on the season.
