Bernice Jowett Pleisch CLAREMONT — Bernice Jowett Pleisch passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2021, at the age of 49 at her home in Claremont. She was born in Morrisville, Vermont, on Nov. 23, 1971, the daughter of Bernard Jowett and Jean (Cushing). She grew up in South Charlestown and North Walpole. She attended Fall Mountain High School/Bellows Falls High School adult education program graduating in 1992. Bernice married Timothy Pleisch on Feb. 11, 1989, in Bellows Falls, Vermont. They had two children, Travis of Keene, New Hampshire, and Brianna of Charlestown, New Hampshire. Bernice later had a daughter, Alaina, with Darren Goodrich of Springfield, Vermont, who brought so much joy to her life. She was a hard and devoted worker at Quaker Oats, Ben and Jerry’s, Whelan, and Bomar. Being a mother is what made her the happiest. Bernice, in her younger days, loved being outside. She loved walks, swimming, fishing, tanning, reading and going for motorcycle rides. One of her favorite places to be was at Old Orchard Beach in Maine with her family. In her later days, she cherished the time she spent with her true loves, her grandchildren, Connor, Aubree and Ethan. She was a strong woman who had a smile that was contagious. Her laugh and beautiful smile will forever be imprinted in our hearts. Besides her children and grandchildren, she leaves behind her brothers, Frederick and Jim Jowett of North Walpole, New Hampshire; also, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and friends. She was very close to her ex-husband and lifelong friend, Timothy Pleisch. She also leaves behind her beloved and loyal fur-baby, Daisy May. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Bernice was predeceased by her father and mother and her only sister, Penny. We are planning a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are with Stringer Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 146 Broad St., Claremont, NH 03743.
