Stevens welcomed the Cougars on Saturday night and shut out the visitors in both games.
Cardinal softballers remained perfect winning 14-0 while the Cards baseball team won 10-0.
Windsor softball grabs home win, 28-0 over WoodstockPeyton Richardson went 4-4. Hannah wood went 4-5 with a home run. Glenna Ricard added two hits to the Windsor hit parade.
Sunapee softball 17, Lebanon 5Molly Reed went 2-2 with three RBIs, Miah Hamma went 3-3 with three RBIs, and MacKenzie Wrightington went 2-2 as they all cracked home runs for the Lakers. Natalie Austin pitched four innings while allowing only one run and striking out four Raiders.
Windsor softball falls in the 12th inning, 13-10Peyton Richardson went the distance on the mound allowing 12 hits and striking out six innings in a tough luck loss to Fair Haven. Adriahna Prior went 3-5 with a triple and two singles. Alyssa Slocum went 3-6. With a double and two singles.
Fair Haven softball 12, Windsor 4The Yellow Jackets bats made some noise but couldn’t overcome a big deficit on Saturday. Trailing 7-0 early, the Jacks big hit came off the bat of Jordan Place as his RBI scored Richie Young as Windsor cut the lead to 7-4. The Bulldogs bats would answer with five more runs to seal the win.
Mt. Anthony girls tennis 5, Bellows Falls 2Bellows Falls girls tennis dropped a home match to Mt. Anthony 5-2. Bellows Falls picked up its only two victories in singles from Ariana Wunderle and Emma Perkins. The Terriers fall to four wins and 5 Losses on the year.
Diley’s marathon match highlights Stevens tennis improvementStevens girls tennis is making gains as evident by Olivia Diley’s near miss in the No. 6 match against Lebanon’s Jill Anderson falling 7-9. Annika Ratcliffe made some noise from her No. 2 position pushing Kaeley Skakalski before dropping a hard fought match 4-8.

The Cardinals play three straight matches to finish out the week. Following another home match on Wednesday, Stevens High School travels to Kearsarge on Thursday and meets Lebanon once more on Friday.
