Sandra M. Barnish LANGDON — Sandra M. Barnish passed peacefully on May 1, 2021, at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. She was born on May 31, 1947, in North Adams, Massachusetts, to Irene Downing (Legere) and Alfred Wood. Sandy spent her career in customer service, including Burger King and later retiring from T-Bird in Bellows Falls, Vermont. Sandy loved the socialization and the many friendships she made throughout her years at T-Bird. She was also an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed NASCAR and Elvis Presley. She loved her family immensely and will be missed dearly. Sandy is survived by her son, Larry Carpenter of Springfield, Vermont; daughters, Diane Smith (Kenny) of Winchester, New Hampshire, Tammy Barnish of Burlington, Vermont, and Tina Neathawk (Chuck) of Langdon, New Hampshire, where she made her home; brother, Leo Dubois of Seattle, Washington, and sister, Jean Morgan of Hinsdale, New Hampshire; 11 grandkids and 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Sandy was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Mary and Gloria; and brother, Jimmy. Services will be private at the discretion of the family at a later date.
