Anthony C. Lantas CROYDON — Anthony Carlon “Tony” Lantas of Croydon passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. The son of Thomas P. Lantas and Debra L. Kuhns, Anthony was born Aug. 16, 1983, in Claremont and lived his life in Croydon. Tony loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed music, fishing, logging, the outdoors, hanging with friends, his family, but most of all, driving. In his words, he was born to drive! Tony is survived by his fiancée, Julie Morse and her son, Weston Gunnup, of Claremont; mother, Debra Kuhns of Newport; a sister, Brooke Lantas-Thorson of New London, a brother, Alec Lantas and his wife, Tammy Lantas, of Lymann; a nephew, Gavyn Magistro of Bradford, and three nieces, Kanesha Campbell, Lauryn and Denali Thorson, all of Croydon. Anthony was loved more than ever and will be missed by all, more than ever. Services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Faith River Church, 233 North Main St., Newport, NH 03773 (by the high school). Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
