Burton J. Rock

Burton J. Rock LEMPSTER — Burton J. Rock passed away at home on May 30, 2021, after a long period of failing health. Burt was born on July 17, 1950, in Claremont, New Hampshire, to Russell and Mary (Ladden) Rock of Cornish, New Hampshire. He attended Stevens High School and afterwards joined the Army and served in Germany. He worked at Sturm Ruger for many years and retired due to health problems. He was predeceased by his parents and a grandson, Brandon Rock. Surviving family includes his loving wife, Becky; children, Heather Rock, Rickie Rock and his wife, Tina, Joseph Hancock and his wife, Sara, William Hancock and Kassandra Stackpole; grandchildren, Brittney Rock, Kelci Eaton, Danyel Stackpole, Christyan Piko, Analiese Hancock, Marcus Hancock and Makayla Goetz; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert Sprano and his wife, NormaLee, John Sprano and his wife, Diane, Thomas Rock and his wife, Pauline, and Patricia Dexter and her husband, William; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
