CLAREMONT — The exciting 602 Dirt Modifieds will make their second run of the summer Friday at Claremont Motorsports Park, with the third-mile speedplant also hosting double features for its In City Sugar Shack Mini Stocks.
Joining the Minis and dirt demons June 25 at the Thrasher Road oval will be the Route 103 Auto Late Model Sportsmen, swarming LaValley Building Supply Pure Stocks, and Avery Insurance Six Shooters.
Bear Ridge stalwart Tanner Siemons topped the Dirt Mods back on May 21, leading CVRA veterans Vince Quenneville and Tim LaDuc under the checkers. Friday, he’ll be among the favorites when the flexible flyers hit the pavement for round two.
Hometown hot shoe Haydon Grenier enters Friday’s Mini Stock twinbill atop the points parade, having taken his fifth victory lap of the summer a week ago. He’s sure to be heavily tested again this week by Ray King, Matt Sonnhalter and company in the night’s two feature events.
Action gets underway promptly each Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Claremont Motorsports Park, located on Thrasher Road, a convenient five-minute drive from both Claremont’s city center and, from the west, I-91, exit 8, in Vermont.
