Scott seeks applicants for State Board of Education seat

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — Gov. Phil Scott is looking to fill a seat on the State Board of Education.

The board is responsible for establishing, advancing and evaluating public education policy, Scott’s office said.

The new member will serve the remainder of an unexpired term until February of next year. That person will be eligible to be reappointed.

Interested candidates should complete the application for gubernatorial appointment to state boards and commissions on the office of the governor’s website.
