We will be having programs again this year!
On Thursday, July 1, at 5:30 p.m. there will be a family program featuring a local author who will be talking about his book- Bessie’s Story: Watching the Lights Go Out- This is the story of his dog who went blind from a rare disease. Bessie the dog will be there. We ask that you be respectful of Bessie and follow the rules of the Farmens’ when interacting with her.
On Monday, July 12, at 10:30 a.m. The Squam Lake Live Animal Outreach will be at the library with 3 live animals and in keeping with our Tales and Tails theme each animal has a different kind of tail which helps them each do something different!
On Monday, July 19, at 1:00 p.m. we will be hosting The CLiF Program once again. This year presenter Marty Kelly will be at the library to tell stories and read a book or two, followed by the opportunity for each child to pick out 2 free books to take home!
On Wednesday, July 28, at 3:00 p.m. Jerry Schneider will be at the library to present a program on Pollinators. After the program everyone will have the opportunity to dye a t-shirt in the pollinator theme. You may bring your own t-shirt and dye it for free or if you want to buy a t-shirt to dye then Mr. Schneider will have t-shirts that you may buy for $4.
On Monday, Aug. 2, at 2:30 p.m. performer Steve Blunt will present a program in the theme of Tales and Tails- in story and song!
On Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 1:00 p.m. Storyteller Sharon Wood will be at the library to share stories in the theme of Tales and Tails.
All programs are free and open to the public-all programs will be outside and we ask that masks be worn if a six-foot distance can’t be maintained.

During the Summer there will be crafts on select Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. we will also have craft kits to take home if your child cannot come to the craft program. More information coming soon.
