Police seek public’s help in finding attempted Mobil robbery suspects

CLAREMONT — Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in providing any relevant information after two masked men attempted to rob the Pleasant Street Mobil on Thursday night.

Officers with the Claremont Police Department responded to a hold up panic alarm at the Pleasant Street Mobil in Claremont on Thursday, Sept. 2, at approximately 10:30 p.m.

“The alarm was activated when two masked males in dark clothing entered the store and demanded money from the employees,” reads a news release provided by the Claremont Police Department.

Mobil employees believed that the men had a weapon.

The men fled the area on foot after the alarm was activated.
