CLAREMONT — Claremont has been chosen as the host site for this year’s Special Olympics Track and Field Meet and the organization is looking for volunteers to help with this event.
Events will take place at Monadnock Park on Sunday, Sept. 19, and will include track and field events.
Volunteers will be required to attend a training for their event at 8:45 a.m. and will need to be able to help with that event throughout the day. The closing ceremonies are scheduled to take place at approximately 1 p.m.
Any group or individual who is interested in volunteering, please contact Claremont Parks and Recreation Director Mark Brislin by phone at 603-542-7019 or by email at [email protected].
