Springfield Senior Center News: October 9, 2021

Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 transmission, and in keeping with state and federal public health guidance, masks are again required when visiting the Springfield Senior Center. Thank you for helping us protect our community.

The Santa Claus Club has asked if we would collect 2022 calendars for them again this year. We are also collecting hats & mittens for the Santa Claus Club again this year.

Hand & Foot cards will be on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m. Corn Hole will be on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 1 p.m. Nickel Bingo will be on Friday, Oct. 15, at 1 p.m. The Knit Wits will meet on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m.

There will be no Mat Yoga on Monday, Oct. 18.

Appointments will be needed for the foot clinics. You can call the center to schedule one. The price for this service will still be $20. Janet Hunter RN, will be offering clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We are looking to start our book club up again, if interested please call the center.

We also have a Bridge group that meets here on Monday afternoons and they are looking for more folks to join, if interested please call the center for more information.

At this time the songsters are taking a break, they will be starting up at a later date.
