MARLBORO, Vt. — Police are investigating a series of fires in Vermont’s Windham County.
Firefighters say they suspect arson is the cause of a fire on Friday night that damaged a building in Marlboro, WCAX-TV reported. The single-story building was unoccupied and no injuries were reported. Firefighters were able to save the structure.
An Arson Tip Award program is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
Police are investigating other recent fires in the area. On Oct. 9, a Putney auto shop sustained significant damage from a suspicious fire. A home in Putney was destroyed by fire on On Oct. 2.
