The Bellows Falls soccer team hit the road and headed up to Rivendell and had a good half making great plays and moving the ball around the field. Rivendell was able to push in two quick goals while Bellows Falls offense wasn’t quite able to bring anything together.
In the second half Bellows Falls continued to make advances but wasn’t able to put anything in the net today. Rivendell celebrating their seniors today made a run and walked away with the win 6-0 Rivendell
Bellows Falls plays their Senior games Saturday at noon at home against Green Mountain.
Laker volleyball teams roll
The Sunapee varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams hosted Franklin the night of Wednesday, Oct. 20, and both came away victorious.
The junior varsity game featured three matches with the scores of 25-17, 25-14, and 15-12. The Lakers were dominant at the serving line, with sophomore Grace Prunier acing 16 serves for the game.
Freshman Emma Reed had an outstanding night at the net with 12 attacks, securing the win for the Lakers.
The Varsity girl’s game also featured three matches with scores of 25-10, 25-6 and 25-10, respectively.
Junior Emma McNally stayed on the serving line to deliver the first 14 points of the game in set one and the feat was repeated by Katelyn Claus in set two.
Emma McNally, Emma Reed, Allison Tschudin and Katelyn Claus had a combined total of 13 kills for the game. This was the final home game of the season, Senior players Molly Reed and Lyla Holobowicz, along with team manager Gabriel Humphrey were recognized in a pre-game ceremony for Senior Night.
