Debbie McAllister

Debbie McAllister WEATHERSFIELD BOW, Vt. — Debbie McAllister, of Weathersfield Bow, Vermont, born in Glenridge, New Jersey, on July 24, 1962, passed away surrounded by her family on Oct. 24, 2021, after a well-fought battle with cancer. She was raised in Milton, Vermont, graduated from Milton High School and later, from Champlain College. Debbie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt and friend. She dedicated 39 years of her life working for IBM in various positions. She was a giving, loving and generous person who enjoyed bringing joy to others. She enjoyed making her home beautiful, gardening and crafting. She leaves behind the love of her life and husband of 37 years, Glenford McAllister Jr.; three loved children and their spouses, Glenford McAllister III and spouse Samantha, Christopher McAllister and spouse Amanda and Bethany Volino and spouse Ryan. She was the proud grandma of three granddaughters, Riley, Alexandria and Emma, and grandson Wyatt. She also leaves behind her brother, Brian Rogers and spouse Marti; and father- and mother-in-law, Glenford and Ruth McAllister. She was predeceased by her mother, Sylvia Rogers; stepfather, Dale Simpson; and father, Robert Rogers. In addition, she leaves behind many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Visiting hours will be held at Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vermont, on Wednesday, Oct. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside memorial will be held in the Weathersfield, Bow Cemetery on Thursday, Oct. 28, at 3 p.m. with a reception to follow at her home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire: D-H/Geisel Office of Development, Attn: Gift Recording, One Medical Center Drive, HB 7070, Lebanon, NH 03756-0001.
