Everett Jenkins CHARLESTOWN — Everett Jenkins died suddenly on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021. He was born in Judson, North Carolina, the youngest child of John and Flora (Duvall) Jenkins. Everett grew up in Swannanoa, North Carolina, and recently moved with his wife to Charlestown, New Hampshire. He was predeceased by his brothers, Willard and Bill Jenkins. Everett is survived by his wife of 16 years, Judy (Huneven) Jenkins, of Charlestown; two sons, John Jenkins, of Arizona, and Tyler Jenkins, of Oklahoma. He also has two grandchildren, Logan and Kelly; and two great-grandsons, Seth and Cameron. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Everett was one of a kind, a force of nature. He loved God, family and country. If someone was in need, he was there. Children and animals loved him, sensing his love for all living souls. Everett had to see what was on the other side of every mountain. He travelled far and wide. Being the people-person he was, he touched many lives wherever he went. If there was something new to learn, he embraced it. Everett didn’t want a funeral. What he did want was to have his ashes scattered on a fast-moving river so he could keep traveling. So, if you are ever near a river, look for Everett and say a little prayer.
