Stevens High School releases home basketball game health protocols

The following is a list of health protocols released by Stevens High School for home basketball games this season:

— All players/coaches/fans must wear masks at all times unless they are actively participating in the game on the court. There may be a few instances where the opposing school mandates that everyone be masked at all times, including players on the court. In those situations, in an effort to be sure that the game is played, the players on the court will wear masks.

— Each Stevens High School athlete/coach will be allowed four fans per game to attend our home games (each visiting players/coach will be allowed two fans to attend). A list will be generated before each game with the names of each players/coaches invited guests. That list needs to be completed by noon of the day of game. If a spectator is not on the list, they will not be allowed in to view the game.

— All spectators will be required to wear masks at all times!

— At the conclusion of the junior varsity game, the gym will need to be cleared before the spectators for the varsity game will be allowed in. The doors will be open for the junior varsity fans at 5:15 p.m. and they will be open for the varsity fans as soon as all the junior varsity fans have cleared out.

— We will be live-streaming on our Stevens High School Athletics Facebook page.

— There will be no concession stand open during the games.

School officials apologize for the limited number of fans who will be allowed to view our games live. Please remember that last year no one was allowed to view the games in person. This at least is better than that! Thanks for understanding.
