Local Roundup: Windsor girls stay perfect

The Windsor Yellow Jackets girls basketball team remain unbeaten four games into the season following a 51-32 win over Hartford.

Reese Perry grabbed her fourth-straight double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Jacks.

Peyton Richardson dropped in 13 points and five steals while Elliot Rupp ended up with 10 points and five steals. Freshman Sophia Rockwood finished with six points.

BF grabs big win over Mill RiverThe Terrier girls secured a dominant 41-19 victory over Mill River lead by Laura Kamel’s 22 points.

“We keep getting better every day,” said Bellows Falls head coach Todd Wells. “It was great for the girls to see some success and get our first win at home after two road losses to start the season.”

White River Valley bring their ‘A’ gameDefensively, White River Valley was all over the court. As such, they were able to easily hand the Cosmos their first loss of the season in the 43-24 contest.
