Claremont Senior Center News: December 31, 2021

Effective Monday, Dec. 13, the Claremont Senior Center is closed until further notice. This is due to the high number of COVID-19 cases in our area. Drive-thru lunches and rentals will continue for now. This action was made for the safety and protection of our seniors.

I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year. Even with COVID, we hope that you were lucky enough to be with family, friends, or love ones.

Miracle Ear, Blood Drive, and VNA Foot Clinic will continue as scheduled.

We are still holding our drive-thru meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Here is the menu for next week:

Tuesday Jan. 4

Soup, fresh made stuffed peppers, rice, vegetable, dessert.

Thursday, Jan. 6

Soup, BBQ chicken legs, potato salad, vegetable, dessert.

You must call 603-543-5998 by 10:30 a.m. to reserve your meal. Members $4, non-members $5. Drive-thru pickup is from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 pm. Meals are always subject to change.

Yes, we still have some Claremont Senior Center Car Show 2022 calendars available. It features winners of this year’s 2021 car show with each month featuring a picture of a different class winning vehicle. Only $12 when picked up at the center, add $6 shipping and handling for each calendar if we mail to you. Call at 603-543-5998 and we will set up an appointment for pick up.

January Foot Clinics are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 6, Wednesday, Jan. 12, Wednesday, Jan. 19, and Wednesday, Jan. 26. You must call 603-748-1731 to make an appointment with them. The fee is $25.
