William E. Hutchins CROYDON — William Eugene Hutchins, Aug. 14, 1981 – Jan. 20, 2022. William was a beloved father, son, brother and friend. He was kind, loyal and generous. He had an incredible heart and was known for looking after other people and making others laugh. A graduate of Newport High School and Plymouth State College, William loved the outdoors and spent much of his time hiking, fishing, and looking for gems and minerals. When he became a father, he then shared his love for the outdoors with his son, William “Billy” Hutchins IV. William was known for being the life of the party and had a love for music that his friends often recall in fond memories of William. William is survived by his mother and father, Leslie and Edward Hutchins, of Croydon. He is also survived by his four siblings, Bronwen, Marjorie, Jackson and Mary; and his beloved son, Billy. His memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. A private ceremony will be held at the Croydon Church on Friday, Jan. 28. A celebration of life open to all of William’s friends will be held on Friday, Jan. 28, at the Croydon Fire Station from 3-7 p.m.
