Michael S. Walch CHARLESTOWN — Michael S. Walch, 53, of Acworth Road, Charlestown, New Hampshire, passed peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 15, 1968, in Claremont, the only son of Clarence and Ruth (Patridge) Walch. Michael worked hard from the age of 17 until his passing to provide for his family. He spent the last 24 years driving trucks; the last 18 years he worked for UNFI, where he became Smith System certified and was one of the main trainers for incoming drivers. Michael was an avid outdoors man. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved turkey and deer hunting in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania, as well as fishing, camping, four-wheeling and riding his Harley. Michael was larger than life, had a big heart and was willing to help anyone. To know him, was to love him. He was very passionate about his beliefs and his family, and lived each day with no regrets! Michael is survived by his wife, Denise, whom he married on May 29, 2021, after a five-year relationship; his sons, Shawn Walch, Kyle Dorr and Lance Walch, of Claremont; his stepsons, Robert Perry, of Keene, New Hampshire, and Tyler Garvin, of Claremont; his beloved dog, best friend and companion, Harley; and his sisters, Dianne Chambers, of Charlestown, Wauneta Hurd and husband Rodney, of Lempster, New Hampshire, Robin Westney, of Newport, New Hampshire, Gloria Carpenter Irons and husband Bob, of Port Orange, Florida, Michelle Rumrill and husband Rodney, of Charlestown. Michael spent many hours hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and riding motorcycles with his wife, sons, friends and family, Lonnie and Heather Chambers, of Charlestown, Dianne and Ernie Chambers, of Charlestown, Russ Hagen, of Prescott, Wisconsin, Rodney, Adam and Travis Hurd, of Lempster, New Hampshire, Dave and Jessica Ackerman, of Venice, Florida, Tyson Turgeon, of Hillsborough, New Hampshire, David Plant, of Lempster, New Hampshire; The New England Brews and Breweries/Brew Run crew and LFDR. A celebration of life and memorial ride will be held for family and close friends at a later date.
