Sherry Laware ACWORTH — Sherry Laware, of Acworth, New Hampshire, made it to 60! She passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, after a short illness but had many years of turbulent health issues. Sherry was the daughter of Helena and Norman Laware, of Lebanon, New Hampshire, with brothers, John Labarre (Romney, West Virginia) and Thomas Laware (Acworth). Sherry enjoyed memories of time spent at her mother’s NuBridge Restaurant in Lebanon, New Hampshire, as a youth. She married Henry Bill and resided in Enfield for many years where she helped raise her stepsons. She worked at Dana Robes, Pike, alongside Henry, owned and operated Parker Street Service Center in Canaan, Henry’s Roasters and Down to Earth Land Care for a number of years. In addition, she worked at Ruger’s and the local Unity Country Store. Sherry is remembered for her hearty laugh, quick wit and straight-shooting conversation. She loved her quiet home on top of the hill with a beautiful view, her oasis from all the crazy people. Sherry could hold her own as a mechanic, weaver, soap maker or whatever she put her mind to. A few years back, she embarked on a solo cross-country adventure with her dog by her side. She never had children of her own but she raised her stepchildren as such and she always had her beloved furry babies, Ginger, Sassy, Meika, Foster, Duke, Clyde the bull, Raegan and the youngest Beau, to name a few! Sherry is survived by her brother, John Labarre, his stepchildren, Annette Dauphinias, Karen Surrell, Mike Pratt, Kevin Pratt, and daughter Stacy Labarre (Altman, New York); stepsons, Clifton (Lisa) Bill (Dorchester) and Travis Bill (Lebanon); grandchildren, Tyler, Raeven, Salome and Emma Bill, and a great-grandchild; her close friends, William and Deb Pamplin; and companion Gary Lynch. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Thomas and ex-husband Henry. The family will have a celebration of her life to be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Stringer Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 146 Broad St., Claremont, NH 03743. To view an online memorial or send a private message of condolence, visit www.stringerfh.com.
