Windsor bowlers would finish off the regular season battling powerhouse and No. 1 ranked Burlington and a rematch with South Burlington from last weekend.
Against Burlington, the Jacks would battle back from 59 pins in the fifth frame to take game one 197-179, Windsor would take game two with a close game 155-148. Windsor would finish the comeback with a game three victory 202-162. Defeating the Seahorses and moving on to a first-place rematch with South Burlington.
Windsor would run out of steam against the wolves getting swept two games to none. (176-154, 157-136).
Windsor finished individual qualifying seeded 2nd out of the three teams. Top individual scores were Patrick Kelly (184, 190), Avery Bean (134, 181), Alyssa St.Louis (196, 153), Bailey Eddy (172, 147).
With the second place finish in the match Windsor locks up the No. 6 seed in the State Championship Tournament.
Next weekend is the state individual tournament where three Windsor bowlers are currently eligible for the tournament. Senior Patrick Kelly second in the state 208 average, Sophomore Avery Bean 162 average 19th in the state, Freshman Alyssa St.Louis 151 average 25th in the state.
Eddy Bailey, a senior, also finished the regular season 39th in the state with a 134 average.
