Howard L. Archibald NEWPORT — Howard Leonard Archibald, 72, passed away on March 31, 2022, with his loving family by his side. Howard was born in Claremont, New Hampshire, on Jan. 30, 1950, to the late Everett Archibald and Roselba (Dubois) Archibald. He attended Windsor High School, then joined the Army. On Sept. 26, 1970, Howard married the love of his life, Nancy Fontaine. Together, they raised two beautiful children, and made a home in Newport where they lived for over 40 years. He enjoyed a good joke and loved spending time with his family. His family was his most prized possession. Other hobbies he enjoyed were hunting, fishing, and spending time at camp.
