Deborah A. Slack

Deborah A. Slack CHARLESTOWN — Deborah A. Slack, 59, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2022, at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born to Kenneth and Sandy Slack on Oct. 13, 1962. Debbie grew up in Unity, New Hampshire, and stayed in the surrounding area until settling in Charlestown, New Hampshire. After high school, she worked for Wonder Bread driving truck, a job that she was immensely proud of and became family to her coworkers, and in subsequent years, as an artist and a homemaker. Debbie is survived by her mother, Sandy Miller, of Unity, New Hampshire; her life partner, Kevin Mulvey, of Charlestown, New Hampshire; her sons, Matthew, of Charlestown, New Hampshire, and Chris, of Newport, New Hampshire; her daughter, Lillie, of Charlestown, New Hampshire; stepdaughter Jessica Tenney and her children, Noah, Ethan, Paris, Addison and Travis Jr., all of Claremont, New Hampshire; stepson Philip Mulvey and his children, Kayin, Landon and Karson, all of Newport, New Hampshire; her brother, Paul Slack and his wife, Amanda, her niece, Amelia Slack, of Georges Mills, New Hampshire; her sister, Angie Osgood, her husband, Todd, and her nephew, Brandon Osgood, of Claremont, New Hampshire; her sister, Cheryl Boardman, of Claremont, New Hampshire; two uncles, Carl Hood, of Perkinsville, Vermont, and Elwin Hood, of Windsor, Vermont; many cousins; lifelong best friend, Laura Zubryd, and very dear friends, Nikkita Desilets, Mark and Darlene Elder. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Emma; and two cats, Memphis and Kioko. Debbie was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Slack; her stepfather, Rodney Miller; grandparents; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Debbie excelled at anything she put her mind to. She enjoyed horseback riding, competing at horse shows, farming, gardening, snowmobiling, painting (especially lighthouses) and cooking. There will be a celebration of life later in May.
