Anthony J. Bielarski CLAREMONT — Anthony Jude Bielarski (fondly known as Tony) passed away peacefully at his home in Claremont, New Hampshire, on April 7, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born on Sept, 20, 1942, in Danville, Pennsylvania, the only child of Anthony Jacob Bielarski and Violet May Bielarski. He was brought up in the Pennsylvania/New Jersey area and had resided in Claremont, New Hampshire, for the past 45 years. He graduated from City High School in Gloucester, New Jersey, in 1961 and proudly served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1967. Tony had a lengthy career in the finance/banking industry, retiring from Mascoma Savings Bank, formerly Connecticut River Bank, in Charlestown, New Hampshire, where he was a vice president/loan officer. He was predeceased by his parents; son, Michael A. Bielarski; and stepson, Travis W. Michaud. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ackerman Bielarski; three children, Rebecca (Anthony) Presutti, Tyson (Ashley) Bielarski, Trevor Bielarski and daughter-in-law, Grete D’Hondt; eight grandchildren, Kirsten (Dylan) and Else Bielarski, Camryn, Alanna and Logan Lovejoy, and Lucy, Eva and Ruby Bielarski. He is also survived by a special aunt, Irene Shrader, of Palmyra, New Jersey; and a special caregiver, Joan LaPan. The family is so thankful for the support of nurses Ann Cuadrado and Donna Sasani. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Norma Garcia; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank Ackerman, David (Carol) Ackerman and Richard (Cathy) Ackerman; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Calling hour will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St., Claremont, New Hampshire. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Reception to follow immediately afterward at the Claremont Country Club.
