David E. Nelson

David E. Nelson WEST LEBANON — David Earle Nelson, of Quail Hollow in West Lebanon, passed away peacefully at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care on Friday, April 29, 2022, after a brief illness. He was born on Sept. 24, 1942, in Windsor, Vermont, to the late Earle and Edythe Nelson. David enjoyed cribbage, playing tennis, writing for local newspapers, sharing his photography on social media, and going to Red Sox games with his sons. A longtime resident of Windsor, Vermont, Lake Runnemede was a recurring source of artistic inspiration for his photography and gave him solace and respite. David was predeceased by Jane, his wife of 13 years. Surviving family includes Fayan, his wife of 40 years; his sons, Scott, Brian, Jeff and Bill; and his grandchildren, Justin, Jcoab, Dakota, Brian and Evelyn. A gathering to celebrate David’s life will be held this fall on Saturday, Sept. 24. Until then. we ask for friends and loved ones to consider making visits to your local park or nature trail.
