CLAREMONT — The Stevens Cardinals softballers improved to 5-3 with a 20-5 win over Hanover on Friday under the lights. Stevens Pitchers Mia Herbert (2innings) Kiley Bundy (2innings) and Brianna Frisbee (1 inning) combine for the Win. Stevens got hits from Kiley Bundy (2 hits), Zoie Stevens (2 hits), Josie Aiken (2 hits), Emily Peaslee (2 hits). Stevens started hot in the first inning scoring 10 and cruised from there.

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — With a great crowd on hand, it took 8 innings for this big rivalry to end with the Terriers squeezing out an exciting 11-9 win on Friday evening.

Springfield scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to force the game into extra innings before Emma Thompson’s RBI single in the top of the 8th inning gave the Terriers a lead that they would not let go of.

Each team collected 13 hits on the night while Izzy Stoodley and I. Belisle both went the distance on the mound for the Terriers and Cosmos.
