Sidney O. Tetreault EL CAJON, Calif. — Sidney Ovila Tetreault, 67, passed away May 31, 2022. He was born July 20, 1954, to Joseph Wallace and Zeta Eleanor (McCarthy) Tetreault. He attended elementary school in Charlestown, New Hampshire, and graduated Concord High School, Concord, New Hampshire, 1972. Sid joined his brother, “Butch,” on a cross-country adventure finally making his home in San Diego, California. As a tradesman excelling at woodworking and glass glazing, he was employed by Karl’s Glass Co. of San Diego, until his retirement. He loved cooking and spent hours experimenting with new recipes from the cooking shows. We will cherish our memories of his steadfast work ethic, his quick wit and sense of humor, pranks, thoughtfulness and especially, for his devotion to his daughter, Nicole. In later years, his health declined causing him to lose the Sid spark we all loved and missed. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Gholston, son-in-law Karlton Gholston, and his pride and joy three granddaughters, Whitney, Brooklyn and Emma, of Grand Prairie, Texas; brother, Wallace J. Tetreault, sister-in-law Rita Fambrough, of Camp Verde, Arizona; sister, Paula Czech Lesmerises, of Concord, New Hampshire, nephew Michael C. and Laura Lesmerises, of Liverpool, New York; and friends, Dottie DeCotis, of Manchester, New Hampshire, and Sharon Marde, of Savannah, Georgia.
